Hello Sun Room Families!
 
This week we continued talking about and celebrating the holiday season. 
Here are a few highlights from the past week.
 
Classroom Activities
  • We painted dreidels and hung them up for decoration in the classroom.
  • We wrapped our gifts for our families. Shhhh
  • We finished our Amazing Auction Art (AAA) project. 
  • We painted Chritsmas Balls.

  • We sang "Around and Around" (sung to the tune of "The Muffin Man")

  • We sang "Happy Hanukkah!" (sung to the tune of "Mary Had A Little Lamb")

A festival of lights!
 
Light one candle for each of eight nights,
Each of eight nights, each of eight nights,each of eight nights.
A festival of lights!
  • We chanted "Take A Potato!"
  • We sang "Jingle Bells"

Hello Sun Room Families!
 
This week we continued talking about the holiday season in more depth. We tried some activities that create the foundation for learning about coding.
 
Here are a few highlights from the past week.
 
Classroom Activities
  • We created our own beautiful Hanukkah Menorahs which are on display inside the classroom.
  • We finished working on our gifts for our families. Shhhh
  • We started working on our Amazing Auction Art (AAA) project. 
  • We played a game using positional words and sang some songs that reinforce the meanings of positional words for the Hour Of Code week activity.

Hello Sun Room Families!
 
This week we talked about our Thanksgiving feasts! We started talking about the fast approaching holiday season.  
 
Here are a few highlights from the past weeks.
 
Classroom Activities
  • We easel painted!
  • We watercolored!
  • We made a beautiful winter forest from our paintings for the outside board.
  • We started working on our holiday gifts for our families.
